Buying Power – We dictate what is sold and said.

Hello!

I am glad to be back! I am here today to tell you how positive I feel about buying power. I read:

http://missrepresentation.org/advertising/this-holiday-season-sexism-wont-sell/

where the essential idea is to discourage sexist advertisements and products which “misrepresent or degrade women” by using the twitter tag “#notbuyingit” and the reason that the product or ad reflects badly on women. If you don’t use Twitter, do it on facebook!

Please feel free to post your own observations on which stores or businesses use degrading advertising, based on gender/sex.
